Speaking of plastic, lemme tell ya 'bout the time I drove a new Porsche 911
from Houston to Cleveland ... nah, let's not. Suffice it to say, if I'd
driven from Houston to Minneapolis I'd have arrived in nothing but the
world's best-handling chassis and a great air-cooled engine. Non-essential
pieces of that car were falling off at the rate of about one per mile. It
was built like the world's most expensive Volkswagen. Reminded me of some
cameras I've seen (tho' not any Olympus or Canons).

give the guy a break fellas; he did say it was an accident, and he posted
the results because they were _requested_ by many of the listies. and fyi,
what do you have against the plastic? for all you know they could be there
to save weight. and afaik, i can't think of a _single_ car on the road w/
NON-plastic knobs. maybe a little carbon fiber here and there in lieu of
wood or aluminium trim, but certainly not the knobs dood...
