You're absolutely right, thank you. I had not checked my info. It just
*seems* thicker at its border.

I'll be there tomorrow morning... hope Mr.Bolivar won't be surprised about
Ponds cold cream.
I would remove the front element myself, but it seems some special tool is
needed to unscrew the front ring, ...well that's how I suppose it should be
removed - I've never disassembled one.
