OK People,
Make up your mind what you think about the camera. It seems like whatever your mood is when you wake up in the morning, that's how you approach this subject...

Yes . . . it's entirely dependent on the phase of the moon and how much java has been sucked into the intake within the half hour prior to posting a reply.

You asked a very diverse list that spans all continents, with members of both genders, from all professions, age groups, economic status, education level, religions (or lack thereof), political persuasions (or lack thereof also) . . . and a history that contains a few vociferous, acrimonious, vitriolic flame wars (search the archives for "SUV") . . . for an opinion.

You expect a consensus??????!!!!

I've only seen *one* in a camera dealer showcase and that was about five years ago. Never owned one, or even handled one, but since I've at least seen one within the past decade and had a cup of steaming java in the past half-hour, I'm more than qualified to give an opine. Here's my take on the OM-2000:

I believe you'll pretty much get what you pay for if it's a reasonable price. I don't believe you'll find it as hardy or as durable as the other double-digit (exceptimg the OM-77 and OM-88 which I've never even seen) and especially the single-digit OM's. Me? For a consumer class OM mount camera body, I'd spend the $$ on an OM-PC in "KEH EX" condition.

Opinion offered expires at midnight tonight and is subject to change without notice.
