I just called MacMall this morning and emptied my wallet into a shiny
new 15" 2.33GHz MacBookPro. I've been twiddling my thumbs and gritting
my teeth, waiting for the speed/processor bump I knew was coming, and I
wasn't about to order one only to have the faster machines come out two
weeks later.
Paid off. Same money as before, but faster Merom chip, double the ram,
larger hd, and they now have TWO firewire400 ports instead of one.
I be happy.
I be happier when they ship in three weeks and I get mine.
I'll see how CS2 runs under Rosetta on this setup. I'm also going to
load the Windoze CS2 suite I have into XP under parallels - will be
interesting to compare it to my Athlon-based native XP box.
