I have 2 set Control Packs. One was purchased from eBay, around after
half year, the battery was collapse. And then I purchased another set
from a Hong Kong user. I asked Hong Kong dealer --- Kingstone to
replace the battery. Unfortunately, Kingstone ordered 2 set battery
from Japan but both were linkage. I'm not electrical guy, thus I left
the control pack into my drawer for half year.
Recently, I put my heart to replace the battery. I asked my friend to
teach me how to repair (he had experience to replace control pack), I
was going to make my first time to repair something I didn't know

First, I bought 2 set new battery as NiMH since I couldn't buy NiCD
battery in the market.

I broken the "box" & take the "battery" out.

The individual battery is 1.2V/pc, I need 12 pcs for 14.4V, so I had
to combine 2 set battery as 7+5.

Upon combined 7+5 pcs, test it was "continuous" by tester.

Successful! The battery was "continuous".

Test the voltage of "battery" as 14.xV, nearly 15V.

I had to pack the whole battery by plastic tape due to the compartment
is metal, it'll be short if no packed.

I put wires at both "positive" & "negative" sides for connections.
