Skew the topic, but...
I've been wondering...
I have a G4 MDD Power Mac, floor model CPU, and a 19" LCD screen (NOT an
Apple manufacture.) It too is totally silent!
So, I need an answer to, cuz I really don't know:
What does an iMac gain me, in any way?
If I got a 21" or 23" iMac, so what? A little bigger screen, but...
I'm thinking, space. Because an iMac contains the CPU functions in it's
thick monitor package, right?
What else?
I'm contemplating an upgrade. But to what? Not something that would gain
me access to Windows stuff!
I know, Apple/Mac is heading that way, but...I'm honestly not interested!
But, if I can get a more space-conservative package, why not...
