I think we'll ultimately be running on nuclear power (perhaps thorium)

very likely things we never heard or even conceived of.  What of our 
current technology existed (even conceptually) in 1912?  Furthermore, 
the technology of the next 100 years will advance at a far faster pace 
than the past 100 years.
