Chuck's stretching problem would be resolved with just a setting
change. I'm trying to get the variable added to prevent stretching but
for some reason it's not taking tonight. I'm giving up for the night,
but will try to get that fixed. This is in the "slideshow" app.
Most humans don't use the slideshow app. And besides, if the source
image is larger than the slideshow display window, it will live scale
it down for the display. Chuck's problem is that he uploaded a small
image and it's resizing it larger.

Which is what? I'm open to suggestions on what the LUG settings are
and I'll gladly set them to be the same. It should be an easy fix.
As to the image sizes, I played around with several different sizes,
but the site performs best when the standard size is 800 pixels on the
long side. I did make the thumbnails larger, though.

I appreciate your pickyness, but I'm also open to suggestions and
recommended settings. No need for panic or changing horses. Gallery 2
is highly flexible and gives us gobs of control. If something isn't
too our liking, we can change it. "Easily" is sometimes not always
possible, like the navigation icons... It's a GIF thing...
