My recommendation: if you have access to a source of Hg PX625's,
stock up on them. AFAIK, Hg batteries have an extremely long shelf
life. With proper storage, sealed Hg's should last for 8-10 years
or more.

In an OM-1n, one Hg PX625 lasts about 1.5 to 2 years. At the current
going rate of US$5 apiece, you can buy 6-7 Hg PX625 units and still
save compared to the price of an adapter plus a 10-year supply of
silver-oxide batteries.

By then, either your OM-1 will become a collectible, or someone will
come up with a digital back for it. ;-)
