If second sentence is true, you're quite new to this list.  The 85/2 tends
to be a real list favorite.  I love it for portrait work, indoors or out.
Stopped down a bit helps outdoors, but I've not had really bad results at
any aperture.

Your meter will be off unless you have John Hermanson or another qualified
tech  adjust the circuit to compensate for the different supply voltage.
