There was a famous photo I saw in an old U.S. Camera Annual from the 40s.
The picture was of a couple standing on a slowly spinning turntable.  Camera
was a modified speed graphic with a very slow moving focal plane shutter.
Final picture had the couple twisted like a corkscrew.
