Well, here they are, the amount of votes each theme received, in order:

** = "Animals" was not one of the suggested themes, but it is a good one for
the future.
Total amount of people that have voted: 28
Now, to determine what will actually be done, I limited the scope (for now)
to the 8 themes that received the most votes (which should cover the coming
two years). The other themes will be mentioned on the site as well, but when
the time is due, new voting rounds will be held for those themes.
Determining the order for the next year, then, was easy, this will be:
1-Landscapes: 17 votes
2-Water: 15 votes
3-Architecture: 13 votes
4-Things that show age: 12 votes
Determining the order for 2003 was more complicated, as all 4 events for
that year received 10 votes. What I did to work out the order, is to use the
orders divided by the total amount of themes people voted on, for the sets
of results that were prioritised. The non-prioritised results were simply
ignored for now. I will not fully elaborate as to how I did the arithmetich,
but after weighing the voting results for the following 4 themes, the order
turned out to be:
5-B&W photography
6-Patterns/textures
7-Landmarks
8-Movement/motion
So, these will be the new themes for the next two TOPE years.
I hope everyone is satisfied with these results and that they will have fun
shooting these themes.
