Bokeh is the out of focus background in a photograph when taken with a
wide aperature.
As far as the "*" goes, I'm not sure, nor do I do it. It is most likely
either silliness related to the allegience to Olympus, or perhaps so
that the posts are not picked up by search engines or bots.
