Thanks tom. This list accords well with the ratings on
http://members.aol.com/olympusom/lenstests/default.htm. But its good to
get peoples experiences. I still wonder where the tamron 35-80SP would
feature in all of this. My father has an early adaptal 1 version 35-80 non
sp 2.8-3.5 but has not used it enough to make a judgement on it. However,
I do know the non sp can't focus under about 1.5 or 1.75 meters. however
the tamron 35-80s are big 62mm filter size and heavy...

At the moment I think the 35-70 F3.6 is the one I will go for.
