Next y'all will be suggesting that camera designers go out and take  
photographs. As if!

Watch the way cars are assembled these days - the priority is speed  
and simplicity in the car plant. In small cars he entire engine,  
transmission and front suspension sub-assembly is lifted in from  
below like a VW beetle and they expect the car to be dead of old age  
before that lot comes out - about 10 years. If you can't change your  
belts afterwards yourself they could care less 'cos you should take  
it to the mechanic who bought $50k of specialised tools and equipment  
off them, right? You're just being a damn economic subversive.
