Nice to see a ground-level shot of the Bay of Fundy, John.

Are you sure it isn't simply the effect of the extreme wide angle - that is
to say, the natural variation of the sky tone across the sky?

Subject: [OM] 7-14 digital zoom / polarizing effect

Seen here

www.johnhudsonphoto.com/424.html

is a shot taken with a 7-14 /f4 digital zoom.

The sky in the top left quarter of the photo shows a pronounced polarizing
filter effect; the sun is 90 degrees to the right.

Have any other 7-14 users experienced a similar effect?

Although this is a filterless lenses, does the optical architecture generate
this polarizing effect in the right lighting conditions? This is not the
first occasion I have experienced the polarizing effect with this lens.
