Do you know that Olympus Europa has a new product called "dimo", which transfers
the digital image files to an MO drive without a computer? You can find its
description at the Olympus-Europa site (http://www.olympus-europe.com/ ) by
following the new product page.

Of course current portable MO drives have a size limitation, but the 640Mb
drives will certainly be able to accommodate 1.5 gigabytes in a few disks.
Besides there must be some programs to compress the data files to put in a
smaller MO disk.

I understand among camera manufacturers that both Olympus and Nikon are working
on larger capacity MO drives of several gigabytes.
