[OM] Is this a good deal?

This is the deal: a champagne 4t with an f280 flash for $600.00. The 4t
is in EX to maybe EX+ condition. The f280 has some cracks in the rear
display window and overall I would say it is in bargain condition. The
camera has seen a few rolls of film go through it, the black paint on the
rewind knob shows some brassing and there are two small spots worn on the
film pressure plate. The black part between the body and lens mount has a
paint chip about 4mm in diameter. The hinges and film door look great
with a few tiny specks of paint gone. The film advance lever has light
paint wear on edges. The Titanium body caps held up nicely with just a
few small knicks, if it was black the caps wouldn't look that great but
the champagne finish makes these marks less obvious. The display light
button was stuck but I managed to free it with penetrating oil. The
exposure comp dial is miss aligned half a notch and makes me wonder if it
was like that from the factory or did someone else open the camera. I had
the meter checked and it was under by one stop. The tech said it would
cost at least 145.00 to fix it. I don't think it would be worth it to pay
at least 745.00 for this camera and flash. Here is the novice part of my
question, should I be worried about a 1 stop meter error? I would like it
to be right on but maybe I am too picky since it is used. I took some
Christmas photos with the flash and camera and the photos came out OK
,but I get color prints not slides. If I bought the camera from a dealer
at least the meter problem would be corrected for free, right?
I have asked the seller to consider a 145.00 reimbursement but I
don't know if he will go for it. I can also just send it back with the
flash and get a refund. The camera came with a manual but it also has the
Green flash ready light that I just learned about today thanks to this
list. What should I do, should I send it back even if I can get some of
my money back? Any opinions would be appreciated.

       Frank
