I'm the proud owner of a chrome OM-2 (S/N 248233) that was recently
(November 2000) gone over with a complete CLA so it's looking and
working great.

(of course!) that the black OM-2 looks and works as good as store-guy

You're a Zuikoholic without a doubt... I recognise the marks ;-).
I, as a fellow Zuikoholic, would do the deal, because I would want
to. However, a sensible person might say "why risk it for a camera
that you don't know?"
You should be able to tell from the condition of the camera (seals
and cleanliness etc...) whether it is a risk or not.
