Bernd,

First choice: OM-2S with a 75-150 f/4.
Second choice: Om-2n with a 50 mm f/3.5 macro.

Sentimental favorite: Leica M3 with a (collapsible) 50 mm Summicron.<g>

I use a SLR mostly for "barns and bugs". The 75-150 produces
surprisingly good macro shots of three-dimensional subjects (flowers),
when used with a 25 mm extension tube and a close-up lens. It has
enough reach to do a good job on barns at 135-150 settings.

The OM/50 combination fits nicely in the center console of the Jeep,
along with a T20 flash. The 50 f/3.5 is cuttingly sharp, but not much
bigger or heavier than a "normal" normal lens.

The Leica for the way it works and feels.
