That looks to me like the typical polarizer effect with a wider lens and a deep 
blue sky. Not sure what the 18mm works out to on that camera and too lazy to 
look it up. Polarizers, as a rule, suck with wider angles. I’ve stopped using 
them except for vegetation and water, when needed.
