It's not all uncommon for trees to fall over in a storm due to poor
root distribution after being planted badly.Trees/shrubs that have been
bought / provided in containers are the most prone to this
The people
planting are usually afraid to tease the roots out and ensure a good
spatial distribution. Eucalypts are especially prone to this fault.
