Guilty as charged in respect of a 4T top plate (preparatory to a repaint
with color matched cellulose paint, before deciding that John's route is
preferable, if you can lay hands on the right parts at the right price).

Bare titanium is not a pretty sight, a sort of purple brass colour. The
cellulose spray was much preferable!

What would the looks be of a Ti *without* finish?
I'd reckon more like a chrome OM-1. Titanium shouldn't have a too awful feel
either.

Has someone gone that way, removing the Champagne paint off an already
chipped 4Ti's top, bottom and trim?
