My recollection was that it was the body that was supposed to be 
involved and thus the transmission of the len's own characteristics.  I 
wouldn't have gotten at all excited and remembered this if it had simply 
been post-processing.  Nice, but not exciting or memorable.  But I can 
see why Oly might have forgotten it.
